Day 37: True strength comes from muscle control.
The exercises and reps were simple and low today, but it was all about doing them slowly. It recommended 10 seconds down, and 10 seconds up, which I just couldn’t bring myself to do, it felt wrong. I ended up with 5 seconds down and 5 seconds up for the squats and leg raises.
Push-ups were a bit worse, as I’m still essentially in remedial push-ups. I think it was about 5 seconds total for each push-up, but I was focusing too much on doing the push-ups themselves. It was still much slower than I usually do, and it was a very controlled movement, so I felt ok with it.
