Hero’s Journey 2 Day 18: The Chase

Day 18: They are getting away!

In which a mystery is solved!

So with things like high knees and climbers, there’s always been the question: does 20 high knees 20 individual knee raises, or 20 PAIRS of knee raises? I’ve been doing mostly the latter, but occasionally the former when I felt lazy.

I did this first set of 20 pairs of high knees and 6 pairs of climbers, and thought “man this is rough.” Then I had the screamingly obvious idea of, “Hey, maybe the site indicates which it should be.” Sure enough, I clicked on “Instruction Manual” at the bottom of every page, and plain as day:

20 high knees (10 each leg)

So yeah, I’ve been doing more than I’m supposed to for a lot of this stuff. Nearly every exercise yesterday was double what it was supposed to be.

To celebrate these reduced requirements, I did a full 10 sets today. I’m always disappointed when these “chase” days have me “let some get away” when I don’t do the full amount, so went full for once. No problems doing the climbers like I had last time either. Next!
